Filmstudios wie Kodak haben über Jahrhunderte unsere visuelle Kultur geprägt. Diese Farben und Töne prägen bis heute Filme, Plakate und Magazine.
Die zeitlose digitale Ästhetik basiert schon immer auf Filmsimulation. Aber warum nur imitieren, was der Film bietet, wenn ich eure Hochzeit mit Emulsion und analoger Technik festhalten kann – echt, authentisch und genau so, wie sie sein soll.
Ich arbeite das hauptsächlich hybrid, das heißt, am Tag eurer Hochzeit fotografiere ich sowohl auf Film als auch digital. Von den wichtigsten Momenten entstehen auch Filmbilder, oder natürlich kann alles individuell angepasst werden: Man kann nur bestimmte Teile auf Film festhalten lassen, oder ich kann einen zweiten Fotografen mitbringen, der sich ausschließlich darum kümmert, den ganzen Tag auf Film zu dokumentieren.
Die Filmeemulsion ist eine lichtempfindliche Schicht auf dem Film, die mit feiner Körnung, natürlichen Farbtönen und Tiefe das Licht einfängt und so eine authentische, zeitlose Bildwelt schafft.
