Film studios like Kodak have shaped our visual culture for centuries. These colors and tones continue to influence movies, posters, and magazines today.

The timeless digital aesthetic has always been based on film simulation. But why just imitate what film offers when I can capture your wedding with emulsion and analog techniques – real, authentic, and exactly as it should be.

I mainly work in a hybrid way, which means that on the day of your wedding I photograph both on film and digitally. The most important moments are also captured on film, or, of course, everything can be customized: you can choose to have only certain parts shot on film, or I can bring a second photographer who focuses exclusively on documenting the entire day on film.

The film emulsion is a light-sensitive layer on the film that captures light with fine grain, natural tones, and depth, creating an authentic, timeless visual world.

I work with Leica and Nikon cameras for the best quality and reliability. I use multiple cameras to ensure that all film material is captured in every situation.

Flash for High-Quality Photos

A flash can make a difference in analog photography by capturing details in darker scenes. Flash technique produces well-exposed, atmospheric images that complement the analog look.

Hybrid Wedding Photography

If desired, I photograph weddings both digitally and on film to fulfill all your wishes. It’s possible to use only one to four or five film rolls for a hybrid wedding day.

High-Resolution
Scans

At the Silbersalz35 lab, you receive high-resolution, top-quality scans with beautiful colors. Black-and-white film can also be developed and scanned at other locations.

Second Photographer
Only Analog

If you want a lot of analog photos on your wedding day, it’s of course possible to have a second photographer whose only task is to capture the day entirely on film.
